Me and my ex broke up over a year ago(my fualt)and I didnt cheat on her. When I was 22 and she was 24 her dad past away in front of my eyes. He made more of an impact in my life than my own dad.Around this time we started seeing less and less of each other. We were off and on for the last few years. Her and her family made such an impact in my life I cant even explain.throughout our relationship I loved this girl to death. We've tried to be friends since we broke up but ever time we start to become good friends again she tells me she wants her space and wont talk to me for at least a month.Recently this happened again and now she says we cant even be friends.I admit I did start calling her a lot and sending her texts more than usual. And she did tell me that the more Icall her the more it makes her not want to be friends but I couldnt help it.Its been very hard for me to just move on because I feel as though I am loosing part of my family.I want more than anything to atleast be friend

Stop all contact with her for at least two months. She needs space to think and be free and you're just making that difficult. That's why she doesn't want to talk to you or be your friend.

You know time and distance are your best friends here. Both for her and for you. It will give you perspective and give her the space she wants. She probably sees you as possessive, obsessive or too clingy. Maybe she needs you gone because she gets feelings towards you she doesn't want when you are around. To be friends, the bf/gf part needs to be dead. Only then do I think you can form a new relationship. Treat her like the proverbial bird and set her free. If it is to be she will be back. If not, forcing things will not make them work naturally. Please believe me that stepping back is the best option now.

As much as you don't want to hear this ( read this)... I think you need to cut your losses and move on. I think she is done with that part of her life. Maybe in a few years...... you can be friend again.
I was in the same situation a few years ago..... and the guy told me the same thing... that he needed space..... he was not looking to date anyone ... because he wanted focus on work .........,it turned out.. he was already dating someone. Soooooo.....,,,,, perhaps it;'s the same thing here.
Good luck..., you will find someone that will have an even bigger impact on your life. 8)

just stop talking to her for a while, i think u should really "disappear" from her life... and soon enough, she'll realize that she's missing something, and that would be you... then u slowly start talking, but don't call her for now and don't show any emotion even if it's hard. Girls don't like to feel bad for someone. Stay strong, let her come to you, bc u probably made a good impact on her life too... Best of luck

It sounds like you're comming on a little strong and she's having trouble dealing with it. Hopefully she's not feeling that you are using her for her family. Mainly it sounds like she needs time to herself right now and you constantly nagging her about her feelings and your own and it is suffocating her and more than likely driving her farther away. I'm not sure what to tell you to do since I don't know the nature of your relationship/ why you broke up/ why she is pulling away. Its quite possible that being friends is confusing to her, because maybe she only knows how to be one thing - your girlfriend - and that's not what she wants right now.

Well she lost her father!!! It takes a lot out of someone who loses a love one..Sometimes they just want things to stop right then and there...Her space is that she needs to focus on what is really is going on in the present. Yes it is possible to become friends with her..But, you do have to give her space..it's not easy to get over someone that quick..especially if they ment something to them in life. No one really gets over it..it takes time... Be supportive in whatever decisions she is making...That's the greatest thing on becoming an ex bf to a real great friend..always keep that fresh in your friendship..Chill out, Have a nite out with the gang..Treat her like on of the guys..not physically..but you know what I mean..The best thing to happen in a friendship is bonding and honesty

let her have her space. know your limits and don't let your feelings get you a charge for stalking. this girl probably does't want to be friends because she knows that you won't let it be just a friendship. And for the record, if u feel so much love for her, it would be best if u just did not see her it would be too tempting for you or just spark your flames back up. Love from afar, and let it go.If the 2 of u were meant to be then she will come back to you.Don't sweat it!!

You need to move on and find u someone else bcause noones worth running down. But alot of the time when u find someone else she might get jealous bcause someone has u and that not fair to anyone. Alot of the times memories are all we have that we can reflect on to make us a better person.

If it was your fault, then it really just depends on what you did.
I would apologize and be as sincere about it as possible, and from there it is her decision, you cant take back what you have done in the past, all you can do is apologize and let her know you still want to be friends.
