I know several reasons, ok so this other woman is very attractive as well although not as attractive as the wife/g.f. And this man and his significant other happen to have a very good relationship. Just wondering what yahoo'lers take on this is?

Well, attractiveness is in the eye of the beholder. As an outsider you may think that this man and his significant other have a very good relationship, but there might be many problems that only they will know.

Maybe the woman he is cheating with makes him feel special. If she is less attractive, she could possibly not have had men in his league before. So, she could be totally into him and makes him feel like he is on top of the world.

I hate to use this in derogatory terms but they just want a piece of a**. Its just that it tends to be with less attractive women. It doesnt mean however, that the women wont ever be more physically attractive than the one they are with.

I agree with freezerspider. They don't know what they have until it's gone and they just want sex. I guess the men think that these women have poor self esteem and will give it up easier, so that they will feel wanted and desired by these different men.

It is not so much about her attactiveness. It is about the excitement of something different that you are not supose to have or do. Sort of like the thrill of a person stealing. It is all about the adventure in doing what you are not supos too.

You know I always wonder that exact same thing. I am not sure why they do such a thing. It is quite sad but I think some men are afraid of not having the option to date anymore.

Because we don't fully understand/appreciate what we have/had until we lose/lost it.
I'd know. I cheated once, and swore never to do it again. (But there again, I've also been cheated on 4 times, so we're not the only gender who does it.)

they are not looking at how good they have it. They are looking at who may be more willing to let them have sex.
