Ramming other people's sins down their throats. It was never the Christian's role to convict people of their sin. That is the Holy Spirit's job. It is the Christian role to love others and to spread the Good News of the gospel and not to condemn. Perhaps if we were to concentrate on that we would not be so accused of bible bashing. Should we not be more worried about our own sin and deal with that first. There are plenty of other verses in the bible apart from the ones that speak of sin. Isn't it time we started quoting the ones about love and hope and forgiveness. Let's get self out of the way and allow the Holy Spirit to do His work - please..

That was a good thing to say. I hope that at least one person will hear it.

Yes I totally agree with you...we're far to quick to judge but I think really all Christians are. It's all about taking control of the thoughts that come into our heads. If Satan throws 6 seeds at us, we could catch five....but what about the last one? That's already in our mind and slagging off the woman who you caught swearing down her mobile phone when she thought no other Christian was around.

Bless you.

Well said. I personally believe the "Holy spirit" is an imaginary being, as much as "God" is and several other figments of our imagination. However, you may believe what you wish, just don't tell me I'm sinning. And DON'T pray for me. That's mean.

I totally agree with you. It's not easy reading about fellow christians who do the job of satan - the accuser. Our role is to reflect the love of Jesus in our lives not try to scare or shame others.

People`s sins are too much to Holy Spirit
That`s why He appointed them to help a little
There is no time to take bath,
You forget about washing their sins.

Yes yes yes. I agree wholeheartedly. OK all humans sin everyone knows that, but we don't need reminding.

TO ERR(sin) IS HUMAN. TO FORGIVE IS DIVINE.

I know which I'd rather be.

Thanks for showing your christian kindness. I can't help but wonder looking at some of the responses in this group at your question if, in fact, there isn't some form of mental or spiritual disturbance.
