My first question to you is why do you want them off in the first place??? Either way, to answer you question, here it goes...
You can probably go to you Orthodontist, and they will take them off. However, and wouldn't recommend this. Even though it looks like your teeth straight, and seems that your teeth are fixed, they are not....
Your braces may not look like they're doing much, just sitting there in your mouth, but actually, there is something happening in your mouth every moment of your treatment. Picture your teeth resting in your jawbone. Your braces put pressure on one side of your teeth, and the bone on the other side gives way. The tooth moves and new bone grows in behind. Your teeth are also held into place by periodontal ligament. Kind of like muscles. When you wear braces, they basically stretch and tear these ligaments. If you take your braces off prior to these ligament reattaching and the bone growing back into the teeth in the correct positions, they will move right back where they were to begin with.
Stick in there and finish your treatment. You'll be disappointed in the long run if you don't!!!

Even if they look fixed there is still a big chance they will go back to being crooked if they're taken off at the wrong time. Your dentist knows what he or she is doing so leave them on for as long as your teeth truely need it and don't prematurely take them off.

orthodontists will rarely touch another orthodontists work. so if the original guy doesnt want them to come off yet you're kind of stuck. depending on your age....your teeth need to be SET in place to keep them from moving back to their original messed up position. after braces comes the retainer. which does just what it says...it "retains" heir NEW position. the time it takes all depends on your age and health. but just cuz they moved quickly dont mean they are ready to come off. your teeth WILL want to go back to their old positions and most of the times they do a little bit. even with a retainer. unless your overall physical health is being affected by them ...you should kep them on until the scheduled removal date.

HELLO,
SOME PEOPLE WISH THEY COULD AFFORD THIS LUXURY. IF I WERE YOU I'D FINISH THE TREATMENT, OR PAY YOUR PARENTS FOR THE TREATMENT YOU'VE ALREADY HAD.
I SOMEHOW CAN'T SEE AN ADULT EVEN WANTING THEM OFF.
