Christians are extremely selfish, as everyone knows. They want all children to be subjected to 'under god' every morning, even though they know that many do not want to hear it. They whine that their kids have a right to say such words, but that is a childish argument. Their kids can insert any such crap that they want whenever they want. There is no need to require these words in a poor quality propaganda pitch to indoctrinate children. Yes, christians who are in favor of retaining such words are extremely selfish. Is it any wonder that atheists are disgusted by them and their petty attempts to force non-believers to notice their pathetic god?

Actually, the words "under God" weren't in the original pledge, but were added much later in the 1950s. So it was never intended to make the United States a country governed by religion the way it is now.

and the christians had the original pledge changed during the 1950s by getting congress to add 'under god'.

lol

And it only says "under God" at all because of some religious nuts lobbying to have it added to the Pledge.

Not again..

That was added in 1954 during the Cold War against the Constitution. Its illegal and should be removed. As for the President, he's a nutbag and is probably the biggest danger the world faces at this moment in time because there are still fundies willing to believe anything he says just because he's Christian.
