find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

well you were shorter when you weighed 100 pounds but now you are taller. im 5'2 and 150 pounds i have lost 25 pounds by exercising and eating salad, and sandwiches, yogurt, and cereal that has been my diet. you will loose more weight if u can exercise. but anything else like starving or not eating is just harmful and you would in the end gain back all the weight u lost plus more because your body would go into a starvation mode and conserve fat instead of loosing it. and when u added fat to your diet your body would cling onto it. if u can exercise it will help u loose the weight faster :) ive been on my diet for 3 months and im not starving to death. being 5'1 you could weight 110 and still be good but 100 pounds is just too skinny. its about being healthy in the long run. in 3 months i lost 25 lbs u can do the same :) have faith

There is no fast easy way to lose the weight. It will be a lot of effort on your part. There is no magic pill, no special diet, and you will have to exercise. But if the only exercise you can do is walking, then walk, and each day increase the amount a little bit. Eat very healthy wholesome foods and stop eating junk food, fast food, sugary foods, and soda's. Weigh yourself every day so you can achieve your goal and no which days you are eating and exercising right. Aim to lose about 5 lbs a month. Good luck!

You can't lose that much weight without a strict excercise and nutrition regimen. Please don't fall into the lose weight without working gimics that they use to sell diet books and pills...especially don't take the pills they'll do nothing good for your body especially with you kidneys in a weaker than average state. If you're really serious then you need to contact a personal trainer to help you out or research proper fitness techniques and create your own work out and healthy eating plan. Best of luck you you, just remember nothing worth having will come without the work first.

Eat only the food groups. No candy!! So eat 3-5 servings of Fruits and Vegetables everyday. Try to eat mostly poultry and fish. Dairy, and Grains. Count your calories, eat every 2-4 hours instead of a huge meal and never eat because your bored or until your full. It won't happen overnight remember so be patient and this way you will be eating healthy and your body will feel so much better.

There is only 1 good health way to lose weight. You already know what it is. You don't need anyone to tell you. Make sure you are eating enough though. Too many people put their bodies into starvation mode by not eating enough then when you start eating normally you gain it all back quickly.

I think that it is very important that you do exercise. It is so good for your overall health.I don't believe that you can lose 40lb fast, without it, it wouldn't be realistic. I am a circuit coach at curves and I see people who want to lose it fast, and it just doesn't happen. I would talk to your health care provider to find out what can be done realisticaly.

Count your calories. Only eat like 1000 a day and you are set. It'll be hard but it's worth it!
