A poll taken over 2000 years ago showed that 97% of then-modern civilization believed in Zeus. When Christianity came along, the beautiful Roman empire fell and now we have 9/11, school shootings, and Barry Manilow. If we embraced Zeus, NONE of these horrors would have occurred!

Because Zeus was the god of all gods in Greek Mythology.
Mythology is something that is likely not to have happened.

I don't know, as I'm a believer. Always invoking the Mount Olympus CEO by exclaiming G. Zeus H. Chrysler and sometimes I get the help I need.

wait a sec... who says the poll from 2000 years ago is accurate? that is far after the fall of the greeks, and roman gods would be more powerful... not to mention the reform of religion with Christianity which spawned from the other great religions of the time

Simple Answer: BECAUSE HE'S NOT REAL!
Simple Solution: Jesus Christ IS God, he always WILL be GOD. Believe in Him. Follow Him. You will be happier than ever. All the stuff that's going on in this world...it's just small signs of His coming again. And NEWSFLASH: You're not going with Him if you don't accept him and follow Him ONLY.

I hate to dignify this with an answer, but the early Christian Church actually went to great lengths to explain that they *did* worship Zeus.

because they many people are sheep. Perhaps if there were more people believing in Zeus then the bible god would be forgotten about
