well 1st of all, make sure you have confidence in yourself (dont be intimidated by her looks), and that you are willing to accept no for an answer. get to know her first and try to find something you have in common. then flirt a little, but dont overdooo it and be humble, yet show your personality. then subtly ask her to a movies or something, make it casual. the most important thing though is to let your personality show, because girls like a genuine guy

A shy person can't.
An insecure person can but only if they realize a couple of things.
1. The situation before you try to talk to her is you are "standing there alone wishing she would talk to you".
2. The worst thing that can happen is she laughs, walks away and leaves you "standing there alone wishing she would talk to you"
2. Even if it is a one in a million shot, if it comes through how cool is that. And guess what, it beats "standing there alone wishing she would talk to you".
Bottom line is you either win or nothing changes. You aren't risking a thing. Nothing you currently have will be taken by her or anyone else. Hell you are betting a dollar at a million to one odds. If you win you get the million dollars, if you loose you get your dollar back. Man I will take those odds any time.
Now, GO, talk to the lady. And don't try to act like Joe Cool, or the opposite, his brother Not So. Just be yourself everything will be fine. HeII I chased a girl one time until she caught me. They are clever, she could have a trap set for you as we speak.
BTW, that chase happened nearly 40 years ago. We will celebrate our 37Th wedding anniversary in June.

Honestly, just do it. The worst thing she can say to you is no. And if you have never heard that word before then you wouldnt be on here asking for advice. That may have sounded mean but confidence is one of the biggest attractions between male and female.Too much can be a turn off, too little wont get you the girl. It's not like you are asking her to get married the first time you meet one. Ask her for a drink, a cup of coffee, something simple yet what will break from monotony. It's a little rough, and it can be itimadating but you never know what she may be thinking, she may be as nervous as you. Just think about what to say, but don't be too pushy about it.
