Enough of all the speculations above. The regulation that governs the initial entry of a Soldier in the Army is AR 40-501. This regulation along with a DA PAM 611-21 can define if you will be admitted to the military and if admitted, what job you can perform. The different jobs or MOSs in the Army have different health qualifications (these specifics are listed in the DA PAM).

Some odd things that can get you disqualified for (remember in the military there are waivers for just about everything) are: anal fissure, anemia, insufficient natural healthy teeth, a missing thumb on either hand, polydactylism, ingrown toenails - infected, colorblindness, abnormal pap, absence of a testicle, penis amputation, scrotal pain, for women if you are under 58 inches or over 80 and for men if you are under 60 inches or over 80, headaches that require prescription meds, sleepwalking, eating disorders such as anorexia, and lastly but not least....voyeurism

See link below for exact references.

Most of these answers are ridiculous and untrue. You can have six fingers, I sleepwalk and sleeptalk, and I'm still in. Tattoo's are pretty much okay now, depending on the branch.
There really is not much that is unusual that will disqualify you. I heard of one girl being disqualified for an abnormal pap smear, but who knows? The services are taking pretty much anyone these days.

Wearing a dress during drill call. Trying to suck your bunk mates man hood every morning and night. Bending over in the shower room several times a day. Brushing with the wrong sized tooth brush. Forgetting to tell the Commander that you are a transexual while out for a drink with him.
