My parents treat me unfairly because I am the oldest and every time I want to do something, I get in trouble. I get in trouble regularly for no reason and one of my friends told me I should run away. I seriously can't stand this anymore. Any suggestions?

Yeah, my parents and I are havign a big fight as we speak and they realyl are blowing things out of proportion. I also have a lot of close friends who know about this whole situation and I talk to my grandparents abotu it, but nothing changes. I've also seen a therapist, and nothings changed.

I have talked to my parents about it, and I have tried to get thru to them, but it's impossible. My mom has been hanging out with some lady who practically hates me, so that might be one of the reasosn, and my dad has always been like this. It's like, I will go up to them and ask if I can sleepover at a friend's house, that they both know really well and I always sleepover at, and they wll tell me if I clean my room, so I do, and then they will nmake me do more stuff which is practically impossible for me to do because they know it will take up all my time.

And no, I don't have my own room, and I don't have a computer, my dad does.

If you feel this way, I think you should give a more in depth explanation of your feelings and memories. I'm not sure how strict your parents are, and your friend, no offense, doesn't seem be using his head. Try talking it out to another adult you can trust, grandparents, older more mature teens around 18, or even a teacher in a very light discussion.
Try keeping a very loose journal about your day and experiences, it helped me think clearly about what I've done.
Usually there's something wrong on both sides.
Is there something you are currently involved in that caused you to ask this question?

now, lets see,
you have your own room. you have a computer. you evidently have a nice roof over your head and food to eat and nice clothes to put on your butt
and yet you complain because you can't do what you want to do.
too bad.
you want to run away? where do you intend on going? staying at a friends house? do you want to see your friends parents go to jail for putting you up?
do you have a job so you can pay for YOUR rent and pay utilities that YOU USE and buy food THAT YOU EAT? do you think that all these things are free? NO, someone has to pay for them FOR YOU!
you sure expect others to pay a lot for things you want and need because you can't.

stay in school, mind your parents. get a good education and then a good job and then you can live where you want and see who you want and go where you want. in the mean time, quit acting like a cry baby and do what you have to do!!!
then when you are all grown and do all these things for yourself, you won't have time to go bummin with your friends because you have to get up and go to work!
ain't life great???!!!

Do NOT run away!!!! I understand u. its the same with me. but i had no counsel. talk to your parents and tell them how u feel. i did runaway and it turned out bad. My grandma had a heart attack and ended up in the hospital. My parents thought something happened to me i stayed with a friend hiding in her room. If you runaway you will hurt many people. your action will hav consequences

talk to your parents openly.running away is so lame, and so is the person who suggested it.you are telling us that your parents walk into your room and say..hey you are punished we will think of a reason later.or do you do things they told you not to or dont approve of..if the latter is true than that is called parenting.parents dont want to be friends with their children,it sucks having to be the bad guy whn we are doing what we feel in our hearts is what is best for you...best of luck to you..one day you will understand..its amazing to me how when i got older my mother got smarter.

my home is like that too, just wait it out, even worse things could happen if you run away, you could get raped or even worse, just try avoiding your parents, and if they let you, try to spend more time at your friends house so you can get away
