2 1/2 cups seedless (or seeded) watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes, rind discarded before measuring
3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
4 ounces tequila
2 ounces orange flavored liqueur
1 1/2 cups ice
Lime wheel or watermelon wedge, for garnish
Put cut watermelon in a plastic bag and place in freezer for a minimum of 2 hours. (If time does not permit this step, add a few extra ice cubes when blending, the difference is not that significant.)
Stuff all ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth. Garnish rim of glass with a lime wheel or a watermelon wedge and serve immediately.
Or just plain old drunken watermelon - great for a bbq. Pour your fave alcoholic beverage over them (not beer or wine) and let them hang out.

My favorite thing to serve at a cookout is a margarita - filled melon. Take a large seedless watermelon & cut a 2" square from the top. Pour in 1 5th of tequila & replace plug. Roll melon serveral times while chilling for a few hours. Right before serving, take an ice pick & stab several times, placing straws into openings.....guests can gather round & sip to their enjoyment!!

you can scoop out the watermelon into balls and add strawberrys, peaches or whatever kind of fruit you want and then pour some rum on it, add sugar to taste, maybe a little lemon juice if you want and let marinate in the fridge for a while. put all the fruit back into the shell of the watermelon and serve.
