I recommend Elixer Nanoweb mediums--.013-.056. on any acoustic guitar. They are smooth, don't squeek while playing, and last for months. They remain clear and crisp throughout the life of the strings.

The downside is they are expensive--$15 a set, but worth it.

Go with acoustic strings, not electric. I agree with the phospher bronze - medium light. Martin Marquis and DiDarrio are good brands. I don't like the coated strings - they tend to fray.
