It's easy to be lonely, but by doing things that you like to do, you don't dwell upon it. If you have a library nearby, go and borrow a book. If for no other reason than to have a conversation with someone. You can ask about the book, and see if someone has read it, and recommends it. Rent a movie, at a video store, ask about the movie, and what might be recommended in that genre. Obviously, if you are working, you have a chance to talk with others, and discover mutual interests. If you are religious, than a church function, could get you to meet people. If you can do some of these things, it may be difficult for you to reserve some time for yourself.

Well, I guess you could try expanding your circle of friends. Maybe, have some single guy friends. And, try to get involved in some activities where you spend time with guys that you aren't really dating. Maybe get to know what they are about before dating.
Believe me. I'm married and I have lonely days too. It's just that there are people in the room with me. But, my needs are no more met than if I were alone. So, it may be part of the human condition to feel lonely sometimes.
On other days I'm not lonely.

Do things that force you into situations where you're with groups of people. Sports, clubs, after-school activities... anything! The more time you spend with these people the less you'll feel lonely. It will build friendships and it will increase the chances of you getting a boyfriend. I'm single and I love it, I have lots of friends, and if I'm ever feeling like I wish I had a man to kiss... or do other things with there's always masturbation.

Take a class, learn a musical instrument, get a second job just for fun, like at a theater. Write a screenplay and send it to Hollywood, plant a garden, teach a dog how to play frisbee. Any one of those things can be done without another person in your life.

loneliness is a hard thing to accept. We have been bought up to believe that we should have a partner in our lives and it is very hard to change that thought. Dont give up on the partner yet when your least expecting it ,that is when you get it. If it doesn't happen then I guess you have to put yourself out in the world in different groups or volunteering for something. At least you won't be as lonely.

hobbies.. hanging out with friends...going to the movies to see action films... eating sugar stuff;ice cream, candy, etc. just not too much and dont become a candy-a-holic..lol... and probably watching comedies. get involved in activities to take up your free time.. and keep a book or something to read or do for the times when you have free time..
best wishes
