It is Latin. It means “In God we trust.”

Like it's posted it means nothing being widely mispelled.
Hence all above answers are not correct...!!
"In deus" is wrong as "in" agrees with the ablative and it should be "in Deo" instead.
"fides" is the 2nd sing.person of the future active and then it translates "you'll trust". It's absolutely not meaning as above suggested "we trust".

To translate "In God we trust" correct Latin sentence is
"IN DEO FIDEMUS" .
It's not necessary to post the pronoun "nos" since Latin were omitting whatever not strictly necessary to the sentence's understanding. Since any personal pronoun has a different verbal form, this already states by itself who's the subject of the sentence.
