Phone problem?

Question

I have had this GE 40 Channel 900 MHz cordless phone since July 29,2004. There is a wired pnone and another cordless phone on the same line. Lately, last month or so, only the GE phone plays musical notes when the phone rings at the same the regular ring can be heard. WHY ?

If you were a teacher and had a 4 year degree or 5 year you would probably know this answer and not have to ask,How about trying being a teacher for one day alone in the classroom one day, I dare you
