I guess it would depend on your age group and whether you are looking for fiction or doctrine etc. I have several but one of my favorites is Frank Peretti (mostly his older works like "This Present Darkness" etc.). I also love books like "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel, Jane Vogel. Also, Sigmund Brewer is an excellent writer I really love his Nick Barrett series.
