I got a lower back tattoo 2 weeks ago, it was peeling A LOOOT! And today I felt, and some of the skin that was coming off, came off when I fell. It was peeling a lot. So the skin that went out was the "dead" skin that was about to peel!!
Please help me, my skin is very sore now. Do you think that the drawing and the colors will have some kinda of problem due to my fall and the skin (that I wasnt supposed to peel) came off by this accident!
thanks
L.

Unless you cut it, or sliced it open you should be fine. I have hit fresh tats before and even though it became sore it didnt have any affect on the design. The peeling is normal, but you need to make sure you are using a ton of lotion and nothing with scents. I live only for lubriderm when it comes to my new tats. I'm a crazy yahoo though so best go to the artist for his expert opinion, but unless your oozing I wouldnt worry!

That's what touchups are for : ) Shhhhhh..... don't tell my tattoo artist this he would be mad; but I accidentally scratched my tattoo when it was in the healing stage and tore a scab off, it did fade that line out a bit so I went back in a few months later and he touched it up and fixed it.

It is normal for a fresh tattoo to peel while it is healing. Follow your artist's aftercare instructions and when in doubt, ASK YOUR ARTIST!!! They are the best source for advice concerning aftercare.

I know nothing about tattos, im only 15, but I think you should go to the place you had your tattoo done and ask them, they will tell you what is really right. not a bunch of people with to much time on their hands.
