Let your parents be parents, you have the opportunity to be a friend. Talk to your brother and tell him that he can talk to you if he needs some help with school work or anything else he needs help with. Tell him you would like to help him before all his decisions impact his future, but that at the end, it will be his choice to allow you to help or to face the consequences of what he is doing now.

Don't judge, don't push, talk to him as a friend. You mentioned you made some mistakes... he'll have to make his own, just let him know he is (and will not be) alone.

You are his brother, not his parent. Bring it down a level, and just be a brother that thinks his 12 yr old pain in the butt younger bro is pretty cool. You may be surprised at how he suddenly looks up to you, or asks questions or advice.

first off \dont take his stuff, next dont butt into his buisness or his agenda he will think you are annoying might not ever look up to you or anything so be a little nicer then later on you will see that wut you have done by letting him do his own stuff has really paid off.

where are his parents?

it's not up to you to discipline your brother. let your parents know about the problems. and take care.

Why aren't your parents handling this? You're just a kid yourself.
