I, personally, would like someone who is smart, good looking, has a great personality (personally outgoing and playful), and shares a lot in common with me. Preppy is fine! Usually I don't care what girls wear as long as it at least resembles something that a girl should wear. Like no tomboys.

I like a girl that is smart and nice. one that is a bit independent, not clingy, down to earth, understanding. Also looks do not really matter but they are a good extra. also if a girl is funny it is great, i don't really like the preppy girls because they are usually stuck up. I don't the kind that are afraid to get dirty, not super athletic but could help versus get a manicure.

Doesn't matter what they wear as long as they are an honest and loving person. I have dated all types and none are better than others....but if you are referring to what looks good I'd say the "new" look of layers and covering up a little bit is nice.

i dislike the preppy ones with passion, mostly because one of them told me that she hopes i die while i'm in the military.

what don't I like in a girl? I don't like psycho girls or "emo" types... whiny, complainy, annoying ones who listen to anarchist music and would rather slit their wrists than be with me.

what do I like in a girl? Her eyes... if she has a good pair of eyes that i can lose myself in, i like that. Her smile. If someone looks like they used her teeth for target practice... that's not good. A great personality coupled with an attractive figure is usually a really good combination. She also has to have a sense of humor similar to mine (which is really raw and dry), preferably, she has a good musical taste (Christian rock) and/or doesn't mind if I join a band. Also, she has to not mind that I'm a nerd. Sexy accents (Colombian or similar) help too. I don't care what she wears, as long as it's not preppy or skanky (regular T-shirts with band logos or funny sayings are good). And I'd like it if she was Christian (I'm passionately Christian) and/or checking Christianity out. Also, I'd like it if she had brains too... dating airheads is a turnoff (for me... and I've done it, so I'd know).

But do yourself (and us) a favor: burn the Abercrombie and Hollister crap before it completely controls your view of yourself and others' views of you.

No, seriously, I like a girl who knows how to dress well - classy and sexy but not slutty, and not necessarily expensive. I don't care about brand names at all - I'm not going to check her freakin' tag on her outfit. Looks + great personality + brains = hot. Throw in a ferrari, and I'll go out with her. ;)
