you are not supposed to count calories burned because there is no way a machine can tell it precisely.
you have to count time doing cardio - 4-6 times a week for 30-50min. if you go over and hour you are actually reversing what was supposed to be a good thing

It depends on how often you do so. It is probably overtraining your body which is a bad thing.
