find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You can definitely lose 20 pounds by August, or at least by the end of August! Since your body is still developing, please be careful with your approach - don't starve yourself or skip meals (if you miss more than one period, it's probably because you're not eating enough). Weight Watchers is always a good option, they teach you how to eat properly without requiring or eliminating any foods. I would focus on whole, natural foods, and stay away from anything that contains high fructose corn syrup.
You say you are muscular, are you exercising or active in sports? At least an hour a day of exercise will really help your weight loss! Good luck!

Don't focus too much on the number on the scale--muscle weighs more than fat and you are better off being muscular and looking trim than losing muscle mass and weighing 130lbs. When you build muscle mass is replaces stored fat and as you build muscle tissue your metabolism increases.
I would recommend doing some regular cardio and keep up whatever you've done to stay so muscular. Maybe you could join a sports team or a gym. Group exercise classes (kick-boxing, spinning, step, etc.) are a fun way to get a great cardio work-out. Or you can keep it simple by walking or jogging for 30 minutes each night.
Good luck!

Weight Loss 4 Idiots has a pretty good program. they have this book and diet generator tool you can get that analyzes your stats and gives you a pretty easy to follow diet that isn't that different from what you usually eat (in my case). i didn't see much change in the first week but it kicked off on the second. it works well, but i really don't like the fact that they say its made for " idiots".
Hope it helps.

try working out for endurance(more reps less weight) that way you'll have less bulky muscle. Try it, it may help.
