How long does Bursitis usually last for you? I believe I have it, but I cannot inspect the painful area because it is on my left shoulder blade and both sides of the base of the back of my neck, but mostly my left shoulder blade. I still don't know when the pain is triggered, just randomly as I move. My neck is so messed up from it though I can't hold my neck straight up comfortably. I think it is from me always standing and sitting up straight, or at least trying to, more than the average person would. Well, now you know the symptoms so if it isn't bursitis you can tell me, but otherwise I just want to know how long it usually lasts (personal experience or researched answer) and/or possible cures or pain reducers for it. Thanks much.

this sounds more like muscle pain. Bursitis is inflammation Of the joint. you can apply a heating pad or hot towels to the area for twenty minutes to help relax the muscles. Advil soft gel capsules give very fast relief for Pain, take them four times daily.

I recommend you see a chiropractor as soon as possible. I have enclosed a link where you can find a chiropractor in your area.

Well bursitis causes visible swelling in a joint. Bursitis will not get better without treatment.

I developed arthritis in the cervical spine when I was just 18. My suggestion is if you don't feel better in a couple of days go see a doctor.

If its just muscle pain get someone to rub your neck and back with a topical analgesic run like Icy Hot or Theragesic. Yes they smell , but its worth the relief.

it sounds more like the trapezoid muscle.the muscle that goes from your neck to your shoulder.bursitis is a form of arthritis.anti inflammatory medicines are the best.make sure before you take anything like anti inflammatory meds. that you are not sensitive to them.they are hard on your stomach.once you have any form of arthritis, you have it for life, you can live comfortably with it .see a doctor first.
