I gave vegan sources because by milk, I automatically assuemed you meant no dairy. Also, be cautious about yogurt. My husband, who is not vegan, used to buy yogurt for breakfast, fat free, until he discovered that it has fourteen grams of sugar per little cup. Yikes.

I know that soy, broccoli and spinach are all good sources. I still don't care for spinach, but since it also has folic acid and other good vitamins (as does broccoli, which I do like), I eat it for my baby. I don't wrinkle my nose, though, when I eat it, so that helps. However, I still mix it with other veggies.

The following are links from a Yahoo! search, "vegan calcium sources". I'm familiar with these sites. Some of the sites that came up I am not familiar with, and others I am, but did not list them.
http://www.vrg.org/nutrition/calcium.htm
http://www.soystache.com/calcium.htm
http://pages.interlog.com/~john13/recipes/calcium.htm
http://vegkitchen.com/tips/calcium.htm

These are just other sites that I have, too:
www.vegsource.com
www.vegansociety.com
www.vegfamily.com

I hope this helps.

Many green veggies have lots of calcium, such as spinach and broccoli. A good multivitamin/mineral also have calcium. And, if necessary, you can always take a calcium supplement if you feel you aren't getting enough during the day.

Believe it or not, strength training will help raise the production of calcium and will help strengthen bones and joints, which is one reason why it's especially good for women, a step toward battling osteoperosis.
