Usually it's a sensation of tightness like your teeth are being pushed.. It should subside in two or three days.

If you are in a great deal of pain, something is wrong. Go back to the practitioner who is handling your invisalign case and have it looked at.

I had the regular ole metal braces and it took about 2-3 days for the pain/soreness to go away. Tylenol usually helps!

THE PAIN YOU FEEL IS FROM THE PRESSURE THE ALIGNERS. HAVING TRADITIONAL BRACES WOULD NOT HURT ANY LESS.
TAKING SOME ADVIL WILL HELP A LOT.
