From my gen psy class my professor revealed a study that showed a group of students that took a test scored higher when they exercised than a group that did not exercise. I do not know whether it is correlated to the group that did not exercise were just simply slackers but exercise does increase blood/ oxygen flow to the brain.

Frankly, Beauty, a couple of laps doesn't break a sweat. I'd say it depends on your normal running regimen. If you ain't a runner, you'll probably just hurt yourself and distract you from the test.

If you are a runner, I'd say run 4 or 5 laps. Blood flow to the brain will make you sharper, but if you don't know the material, running alone ain't gonna cause the answers to jump into your head. Good Luck
