i think you always have a chance until she just flat out says, "i don't like you." sometimes it takes a good friendship for a person to really realize they like someone. it might take a while but if you are willing to be patient and be there for her then it will be rewarding, either by her coming around or by you just gaining a good friend. just ask her to hang out. also, be confident...that is key.
