lol...probably water gets in there when you bathe and you don't get it dried it out with the towel quick enough. It may be creating some fungal smells from sitting in there for a few hours. Make sure you towel your 'button out after you rub-a-dub in the tub...

Clean your belly button regularly with Polysporin (anti-bacterial) on a Q-Tip.

nicely, mine would not harm, get rashy or have liquid or something. yet whilst i shove my finger in it, it smells like an absoloute mo-fo you should perhaps bypass to a doctor approximately it or some thing incase this is an infection however desire I helped and solid success with the tummy button undertaking =)

Clean it out with rubbin' alcohol and a cotton swab. You could use the citrus or mint scented rubbin' alcohol for a more pleasant smell.

More than likely its thrush in you bellybutton it loves warm places try some talcum powder in there for now but go to your doctor and he will give you some powder to put in.

It's usually a combination of shedding skin cells--mixed with sweat.
It's icky, but easily fixed with a q-tip.

you may have an infection there. because that doesn't sound normal to me. if i were you, i would go to the doctor to get it checked out(to be on the safe side).
