I feel arguing is pointless and all we are doing is what Jesus told us not to and that is like I said before we are just casting our pearls before the swine. I feel we should be encouraging other believer only.

No. If you are casting pearls before swine, you are wasting your time showing or offering something very helpful or valuable to someone who does not understand or appreciate it. As an athesist, I however understand your argument, and reject it out of intelligence, not because I do not understand the message. I have read the bible, and the quote in Matthew 7:6, so you did not have to translate it for me. I suggest that your pearls are nothing but imitation pearls. Maybe - but there are some real swine on this site.

I have felt that way for years, Jay...: But God has not forsaken humanity yet.

So, we should run the risk of being offensive, and when insulted, shake the dust off and try again.

Probation has not closed for humanity, and even though people close their doors in your face as you invite them to church, Don't give up.

Yes, if just one of them are awakened out of their slumber, and you meet them in Heaven, you have made a friend for eternity.

But how will you feel, or should I say, how will God feel about you if you invent excuses, like classifying them as swine, and then don't do the work God would have you? Jesus has told the slothful they are unfaithful servants.

God is alive, and so is His Son, Jesus. There are so many truths in the Bible, and you will continue to study His word through eternity. I pass out cards on the street with this url: http://abiblecode.tripod.com because it is a last-day code that proves Jesus is the Messiah, among other things.

Do not give up until you hear the words: "Well done, you faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord.

Blessings and AGAPE, One-Way

Being willing to share the gospel with others is a privilege. Even if you believe you are casting pearls before the swine, I have met people that in their time made fun of the gospel, but years later they became believers because of that seed planted long ago, which suddenly made sense to them. What even Christians do not like is the pigheaded endless parroting of bible verses of fundamentalist Christians who believe they have to bend everyone elses arm's behind their backs to get them to believe. Nobody likes to have faith and gospel rammed down their throats.

I disagree, Jesus came for the sinners not the saints.
Jesus would be talking to the non-believers.
Never hear of seed planting?
Encouraging other believers if fine but how can you help others come to know the Lord if you shut them out?
People who think as you do kept me from coming to know the Lord for a very long time. There are some who are evil and will never change but you don't know who they are.

You plant your seeds, then if people wish to ask questions you can answer them. All that statement says is,do not overload someones donkey with scripture, that they do not understand. If your are well studied in Gods Word, remember that not everyone has had the privilege nor the proper teaching. Be patient, and what ever Gods will is, it will happen. Have a good day.

If you only encourage other believers, then what are you accomplishing?

Jesus dined with tax collectors and prostitutes because it is they who need saving. Believers don't need saving.

Faith without works is void. You are to be in the world but not of it. Do not hide your light under a bushel.

Do you understand?

Sounds like a mighty fine plan to me, but don't just stop at encouragement. Go take all the other christians, build yourselves a kingdom somewhere and run it under biblical laws, and leave the rest of the world to us. Your happy, I'm happy, everyone's happy.

Keep away from us swine, wouldn't want your precious pearls getting dirty.

Yes, you are right. We should not argue. HOWEVER, it is our jobs to reach out to non-believers. That is our duty as christians. We need to know how to reach out to non-believers, try to bring them to Christ and if they are not all open to change, then move on and go to the next individual. God knows your heart and that you tried. Plus, you have atleast planted the seed. For all you know, that seed may flourish. Maybe not today, right now or even soon. But, maybe one day it will and Jesus will know who reached out to them in the beginning. Continue to try, DO NOT argue and continue to believe. God Bless.

At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
