Whole. Hence the name.

The following links are just a few I thought were the better ones from a Yahoo! search, "whole grains". I'm sure you could also find information with a search, "whole grain health" and the like.

Still you should read labels. Just because something says "wheat" doesn't mean that it's whole wheat. Also, I only buy whole wheat bread, but I do not buy it if "corn syrup" or "high fructose corn syrup", it defeats the purpose, I think.

I hope this helps.

I even have almost eradicated wheat, and am doing on very small quantities of corn, brown rice, and different grains different than oatmeal (I consume that approximately 2-thrice each and every week). Potatoes I enable, even nevertheless i comprehend they are intense glycemically, so I consume them sparingly. i attempt to choose for the unrefined (entire) or sparkling forms of any grain/vege as quickly as I do consume it, as they are decrease in organic sugar than any subtle or processed version easily, I merely choose for the eco-friendly leafy veges and cauliflower, and cucumbers. Tomatoes too. you will get the nutrition from grains in different meals, i've got faith, and the fiber too. desire this allows.

A balance---

whole grains are a GREAT source of fiber and antioxidants, but your digestive system works hard to break it all down.
