I am on a very small budget,. However I am a maid of honor and have to plan the bachelorette party. Any theme ideas would be greatly appreciated. The other bridal attendant does not arrive in town until the night of the party, so I am on my own here. We have about 8 girls coming so far!

"March of the Penguins"
Bride to be wears black ... friends wear white (reversing wedding)
Do a "Scavenger Hunt" ... some places offer T-Shirts with pre-planned things to do before getting married ... or you can make up your own.
Ask a parent / grooms-man to be a designated driver ... I'd recommend at least renting a van for 8 ppl.

Caribbean/ island themes are always fun! If the bride is going someplace else for the honeymoon, you could revolve the theme around the honeymoon spot. For Caribbean/beach themes, just go to a big party store and you'll find lots of stuff CHEAP. The Dollar store usually has lots of stuff as well. Even though the other bridesmaids aren't getting there until the night of the party, they can AND SHOULD pitch in on the money to throw it. Even if they just contribute $10 or $20 per person, that would help, right?! I would find a nice way to ask them if they are willing to contribute so you can make that evening very special for your friend. Make fruity drinks and put those umbrellas in there. Buy plastic lays. You could even make the bride dress up in one of those hula outfits if she wouldn't be toooo embarrassed! :) I promise, you can make a great night of it for under $100. Also, you'll want to think about who's going to pay for the bride's dinner and drinks. Everyone should pitch in for that as well. I hope this helps!!

"Tini's and Toes"
Get together to get your mani/pedis for the wedding and enjoy a few cocktails together. You usually will do it anyway and will be totally relaxed and looking good if you go out later. The bridesmaids pay their own and then split the brides ticket. It will be combo party and wedding gift. Getting massaged while having a yummy drink....heaven.
Another option is to have someone like Passion Parties, Inc. come in. Its like a tupperware party but with um, romantic items and lingere. She shows you stuff, play a few games and I don't think they charge. Then everybody pitches in and buys the bride something for her honeymoon. They are good naughty fun in a clean way and the only exspense should be for snacks and drinks.
You can even combine to two, do each other's nails, rent a few chick flicks and have a sleepover kind of thing after the saleslady leaves. I'd leave out the Passion party if she is a virgin or really uptight though.

Try to figure out a theme from the honeymoon spot or just something that reminds them of you. A pajama party can be fun and inexspensive. If they are a good friend any type of celebration of their upcoming marriage should be appreciated even if it is on a tight budget.. Try getting pictures of all the girls coming and then have everyone bring cameras and make some scrapbooks for memories for her to have for years to come. The guests could even bring their own pictures of them and the bride to be. The memories will last a lifetime. their are more ideas alwys on yahoo.. try typing in bachelorette parties and see what you come up with. I am sure whatever you decide on will be a huge sucess..

We did a hawaiian theme. We all met at a mexican restaurant and everyone paid for their own meals/margaritas. The maid of honor brought a fun grass skirt/lei for the bride to wear, but she told everyone ahead of time to dress hawaiian. She also brought a pretty flower and a clip for everyone to put in their hair. Then we hit the bars... it was fun!

See if you can find someone with a big SUV that will hold all of you to be your DD for the night.
Tell everyone that they are responsible for their own drinks, except for the bride. Maybe you can convince them to chip in on that.
Buy a t-shirt for the bride and write Suck for a Buck in magic marker. Pin pieces of candy to the shirt. Guys will pay her $1 for a piece of candy. This will help pay for her drinks for the night.
