What i meant is is the magnalite aluminum pots (for roasting turkeys per se) okay to use? I keep hearing that the aluminum is okay but my family says it isnt. Does it cause alzheimers?

The Magnalite cast aluminum is for a conventional oven not a microwave but I've heard a long time ago that the surface isnt good for you. This was over 10 years ago dont know if its still true.

Aluminum used for cooking should cause no problems as the concerns about aluminum focused on it in diet and in things like antacids - don't know what current status of that is. If aluminum damages the body and if you are concerned, roasting is going to do nothing to corrode the material - cooking acid liquids (tomatoes, etc.) might.
Terra cotta should be okay in microwave, but check any new container in microwave carefully. Without food in it, give it about 20 seconds and see if it or the glaze gets remarkably hot - if it does don't use it. If it seems okay, add some water and heat for 60 seconds and check again. Some glazes and clays absorb microwaves.

I think it's safe to use terra cotta in microwaves, but I don't know that you'll get an even heat with them or not. It's safe, but I don't know that it's the best to use.

I'm really hoping you're not asking if the aluminum is okay to use in the microwave (it's not) but I really don't think it causes alzheimers.

Aluminum conducts electricity. What do you think? Failed Physics I see.
