I am going to be completely honest....
at your measurements, that weight is more than you should be. Ideally you should be at about 125-140... even with muscle mass. At 170, and such a young age, start exercising now. If you are conscious about your weight now, imagine how much more you will be if you continue the direction you are going.
Don't starve yourself. Do some studying, ask some friends and family, begin running, biking, any type of cardio, and make sure you do some sort of weight training... and of course ab work outs. You can find info on diff sorts of work outs and routines EVERYWHERE! just LOOK!
it is a lengthy process.... trust me darlin, I work out 4-5 days a week, I am 5'2" and about 125.... I am not fat, but I am not skinny, I still want to look better....
how are you eating.... remember your eating habits are 60% of how you look. Lots of fruits and veggies, NO sodas, limit your fat and sugar intake. just think before you eat... and definitely no eating fast food.... that stuff is awful!

well i'm 5'4 and 170 lbs so if your fat than so am i... no your not fat if you want to tone up your body then try walking or run a couple trips up and down stairs
its not going to really make any difference if you try to lose weight quick thats not even the issue it's all about toning and shaping your body and getting muscles movig
if you are wondering how we compare avg. size for a 5'4 woman is 13-14

It depends on your confidence level. If you feel good at that weight stay that way! If not try to lose some... but not too much. As far as losing weight fast. Start drinking lots and lots of water and eating less but don't starve yourself! When you get back from vacation try to lose weight slowly (if you feel you need to) because then it won't come back as quickly.

3 weeks is not enough time to do anything. im about your hight and weight now (im 24 and i had a baby a month ago) what helped me before i got pregnant and reached a weight of 140 (thats what my doctor told me my weight should be at) was a strict diet of soup and salad with vitamins on the side and lots of fast passed walking.. running hurts me knees. you are mildly overweight. Eat no fat...I mean not even one gram for the next two weeks and make sure to eat about 8 times a day at random times so your metabolism will speed up. Have fun on vacation.

Consult with a doctor on a diet and exercise that would be most beneficial to you.
If you can't go to a doctor, then eat in moderation. Cut out sodas, chips and sweets.Go for brisk walks and stretch.
I personally don't think you are fat, your measurements are similar to mine. But I would call you chunky like I call myself. And average too.

we're about the same size, but I'm older. that's about average for American women. eat a well balanced diet with proper portions, drink lots of water, and exercise at least 30 minutes every day.

You shouldn't worry about what other people think. If you look in the mirror and are happy with what you see, why worry about the number on the pants? As long as you are healthy and feel good, never compare yourself to any one else because they are not you.

If you got a$$ and ti77ies then you're not fat. If you're flat (less than a C cup) though you need to go on a diet and stop watching so much TV.
