>The Torah says Moses allowed consumation of marriage at the age of less than 6 years old......
Where????
UPDATE:
>You can marry a girl at the age of 14 with parental permission in TEXAS.
No you can't:
The minimum age for marriage in Texas with parental consent is 16. Parents must be present and give written consent. Each under-age applicant will be required to provide a certified copy of their birth certificate. The consenting parent must provide some form of government identification such as a valid drivers license. If the natural parents are divorced, the parent given custody must be present and give written consent and present a certified copy of their custody papers. Documents are required to establish that a prior marriage has been dissolved.

>Age 12 in the state of Mass.
If either partner is under 18, parents or legal guardians must be present. If a parent can not be present, due to death, separation, divorce or other circumstances, proper evidence must be presented for verification. You will need a certified copy of your birth certificate. If you are under 16 you can not marry without a court order.

>Biblical men married women at the age of 9-10.

1- in the Bible a girl was married off at 13, as that was the age of adulthood. a girl can enter puberty early as 9. betrothal lasted approximately 1 year, they couldn't have intercourse until the mariage, had to sign a bill of divorce if the mariiage was cancelled, and of course, families had a problem with too high of an age contrast. marriage was a big thing
you act like we're the only ones. besides, most just say pedophilia. I've actually seen more atheists say this. stop judging if you don't want to be judged yourself...
again, 13+
weren't you the ones saying not to judge by the rules of today?
rules of today...
now that is definitely inaccurate. if not, please quote it and cite it

Just because there are stories of biblical men marrying girls who are 9-10, or right after puberty,
doesn't make it right.
we've learned a few things about social and emotional development of women in the last few hundred years.
Which doesn't make what Mohammed did Rape, if it was accepted at the time, it just goes to show how little the wise men really knew back then.

Once again Muslims need to make up their mind. You say it was ok for a 54 year old man to be with a 6-9 year old girl because that's how it was done back then. Then you say that Muhammad is the perfect example of how to act, transcends time. Which is it? If Muhammad is your example then you must feel that it is still ok to have sex with a child. That would make you a pedophile. That would be called statutory rape. That would mean Muhammad was guilty of rape and was a pedophile. What a prophet!!!
God Bless.

I thought it was a 9 or 10 year old? I was also under the impression that it was more of an arranged marriage and it wasn't consummated until much later. Aw well. In any regard: I don't really care. I do understand that it was a different culture and time. It doesn't concern me, nor does the ages of Mary and Joseph. (Why do you assume all Westerners are Christian?) However, why are you attacking Western culture so much? That is the reason Danish cartoonists draw pictures of Muhammad, to poke fun at y'all because you take things to seriously. If you dislike TV so much, do what I do, and don't have one in your home. And what does business is it of yours if people "have sex out of wedlock"?

I don't call it rape, I called it pedophilia. Being sexually attracted to a child (prepubescent) is pedophilia.
Puberty is not at 9 or 10, it's closer to 12-14 years of age.
You notice the two states you mention the marriage age is 12 and above...not nine and under.
Where in the Torah (address...book and scripture) does it say that about Moses? I've read the books about Moses...and there is nothing that confirms your post.
You will know a tree by it's fruit. In other words your "prophet" married a child and spread his religion by the sword. Murdering people that would not convert.
Your god tells you to give him your sons, strap a bomb to their bodies and he will make them a martyr.
My living God tell everyone...I will give you my Son, so that you may live.

Prophet Muhammed had about 14 wives. He pretended to speak to God and had his friends write the Koran after he received the "message" from God. In reality Muhammed was a warlord who needed to unite the arabs. Just like every other religion, they used God to control people.
My friend from reading some of your comments I've come to the conclusion that you are a very angry and confused man!. but your a smart man also, so I am assuming that after all the research you have done to put down other religions, you have done some on yours as well. And since your smart you have come to the conclusion that a religion that condons beheadings, murder, cutting of limbs, mistreatment of women, hate, intolerance etc is not good for humanity, and therefore is not of God. just wanted to share that with you.

I think people called it statutory rape because the law is that someone that young does not understand sex and is not ready for it.
In many holy books many evils were committed in the name of some kind loving god. Hence why so many point them out as being made up.

And what's your point??? All of those ages you've mentioned, dude.... they're still children no matter how you look at it, Biblical times or not.
It's ''today in our times'', and we say that it is definitely wrong, so get over trying to make excuses in order to sleep with young children. You pervert.
