Would you feel offended if your boyfriend was dating you because you were the reincatnation of a love he once had? My one friend said I should feel flattered and think of it as our love transcending even death... but should I feel bad if that's the only reason he loves me?

Well this is kind of interesting. It does sound like there is a big age difference. You shouldn't feel bad though. What he is saying is he loved her and she left that body and now you are her. his love never died. The only reason he loves you is because he loves you. :-)

He loves you because he loves you? Throughout all time? If he truly believes that then he loves you. Your problem is, is he a true believer or is he using the principle of Karma to accomplish a hidden agenda., that is, having sex by way of persuasive flattery? Solution......wait...time is on your side, tell him sorry, next karma.......then judge his reaction. Good luck. PS.....I always believed the same about my first true love and it didn't work our, but, that was me and you are you.

Is your boyfriend twice your age?
If not, then how could you be a reincarnation of someone his age who died? Wouldn't she have to have died before you were born?
If he IS twice your age, then you need to find someone younger.
