Pits are not meant to be people aggressive. Pits should never bite and I know many responsible owners and breeders who do not believe in second chances for such dogs...because it puts all of them (the whole breed) at risk. No, I would not adopt one with a bite history.

I might, yes. Depends upon the actual personality of the dog. he wasn't trained properly if he bites children and I feel with all the research I have done on training bully breeds, I could teach him how to be a nice dog. Not many people really KNOW how to train a bully breed and I'm not saying I'm any expert, but... Then again I have three cats and wouldn't trust the dog with them either. I don't have kids. Oh, and I don't care about the "Name" of the dog, just the personality.

If a dog bites people, especially a pit bull, they should be euthanized. Why keep a dog that's a loaded gun, when there's tons of non-biting homeless pit bulls out there who need homes? Another dangerous pit bull just further damages the reputation of the breed.

No. I wouldn't want to risk if I had kids, or even not having kids, I wouldn't want the liability. Breed aside, I wouldn't even adopt a poodle or a golden retriever named FiFi or Cuddles if it has a history of biting, especially biting children.

You're kidding right????? If it bites children it won't be long before it bites adults. It would have to be one special dog to even consider adopting.

No. I have a pitbull and a lab both sweethearts because raised right but not one with the history of biting children because I have three. Don't blame the breed blame the owner!

No, of course not. Why would anyone want the risk or the liability? The name and the breed don't matter to me but the history sure does.

No but I would get a pitbull puppy and name him cujo. Pits can be great dogs , but not when @$$holes treat them like garbage and make them fight. I would bite someone too if all I know is that people treat me like crap. The dog doesnt know the difference between his owner treating him like garbage and some kids.

Not because of his name or his breed- but because of his bite history I would say, no.

do you have children? have you ask the owners why he is bitting. if you have no children or any around go ahead but study the past history of the pet and try to help him. be careful and give lots of love to him good luck
