Ever notice that only Muslims still stone people to death? Jews and Christians don't. Ever notice Muslims don't allow dogs as pets? Jews and Christians do. Ever notice the Old and New Testament are put together in one Holy Book? The quran is on its own. Ever notice Jews and Christians tend to get along (as a whole)? Muslims refer to us as dogs and pigs (because the quran does). Ever notice that Jews and Christians believe in a Messiah?

God Bless.

I don't know about the Quran, but the Bible was written by numerous people. For example, Matthew wrote his own Gospel, John wrote his gospel and revelation. In the Old Testament, various scribes and prophets such as Elisha and Samuel penned their visions. Different authors even in the New or Old Testament didn't write the same.

That's because the Quran was written 600 years after Christ. The New and Old Testaments were already "the Bible." The Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the Son of God, nor do they believe that he died on the cross.

The author of the Quran chose to write like the OT writers. So what?

the Qu'ran says Allah made man from water, Genesis says God made man from dust. yes, same theme

the Old Testament is a shadow of the New. you'll notice that shadows will not indicate details, only a rough outline. if you read Scripture in its fullness, you learn this.

such as the sixth commandments says "thou shalt not kill", whereas Jesus went so far to say "do not hate". Jesus went into the intricate details, the motives and reasons behind the Law, while the Old Testament both proclaimed His coming and gave the rough outline

Maybe because the Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament was written in greek, hundreds/thousands of years apart. I'm not sure I see the point.

I have read both the Old Testament and the New Testament.
The New Testament completes the Old Testament.
More importantly, how do you feel about Abraham's blessing going to Isaac and not Ishmael?

Perhaps it's because what we call the "Old Testament" was written in Hebrew and Aramaic, by Hebrews living within Jewish cities and as nomadic tribes, whereas the "New Testament" was written in Greek, by Greeks and Romans living within the Roman area of influence? That would cause some stylistic changes. Also, remimber that the books of the Bible (Old and New Testaments) span tens of authors over thousands of years.

The Qur'an, however, was written (according to Wikipedia) in one language (Arabic) over a span of 23 years in one location by one author. That would cause consistancy in style.

The comparison doesn't work. It's like me stating that the collection of Michael Chrichton books all share a style, whereas my collection of English Literature (which spans from Shakespere to Edgar Allan Poe) varies in style.

Because only in God's Word do we get to read and see who we were "before" Christ came ( old testament) and who we can become because He came( new testament ). We see Grace alive from Genesis to Revelation. A book of unending, unmatchless hope. Satan can try to make false substitutes but in the end only Jesus will reign.

Do you have any proof of what you are saying? The Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible to match and back up each other.
