I know many people closed their accounts at Bank of America after finding out that they were going to endulge in the immoral practice of granting bank accounts to illegal immigrants. But that hasn't stopped the many other companies and government organizations from offering their services to them. How much better off would we all be if Americans would take their indignation at illegals for crossing the border and focus it on themselves for welcoming them with these kinds of frivolties? We've had laws on the books forever that are supposed to be doing the same thing that this recent bill is doing, yet we haven't had the vigilence to uphold them. Will we ever get off our high horse and realize that "if we let them, they will come?" There wouldn't be an illegal immigration problem if we didn't allow our own people to give them pseudo-amnesty in the first place, would there?

dallas - I'm not sure why you think that I'm suggesting that. We are a government of the people, and an economy of the people. So why don't we act like it, and be more like the people who were pro-active in cancelling their bank accounts?

Eclipse - There is a flaw in your logic. And that is that their isn't 20 million Ted Bundys out there. One or two is the result of cracks in society. But 20 million is the result of apathy on our part to do anything.

me2 - You bring up a good point. I'm sure there are many illegals, though, that would be sickened by such comments. It's hard to imagine that such would be so outspoken if we had not spoiled them in the first place.

Yes, but all forces need to held accountable. I was watching Larry king they had a Spanish personalizes from TV and radio and to a man or women, they all spoke to the right of cross borders to come here and demand the rights that were denied to them in Mexico. Some even spoke of the revolution that was going on in Mexico, and Larry or the other side of illegal immigration issue never asked what, revolution.
Why do not these well paid, well spoken news people go live in Mexico and solve the problem there

Immigration Bill = Age Discrimination

After 28 years of service as a computer programmer, I was forced into retirement to make way for offshore program maintenance and software development by young H1B people.

I meet my old friends at job fairs and hiring lines. Nobody wants to hire tech people over 60. I keep hearing about immigrants taking jobs that Americans don't want. They took my job and I resent it.

I also resent that my senior years will include paying higher medical costs and school taxes for illegals.

I have spent life working hard and "doing the right thing". Now my birthright is being given away to people with no appreciation for what they are taking.

i've got confidence now we are conserving them responsible. i understand i'm. I think of one in all my Senators is ill of listening to from me as she is professional-amnesty. the different one voted against the immigration bill through fact the commonplace public hue and cry here became quite loud. people who proceed to push aside maximum individuals's perspectives would be those with heads hung low through fact the election returns are published on the tip of their next campaigns. the warmth is mountaineering as state and native governments enact their own regulations to restrict unlawful extraterrestrial beings as nicely. this is only a count number of time. I easily have each and every faith that our sovereignty will win the day, no longer the next day or next week. even with the undeniable fact that it truly is coming.

why are you grouping all americans in your speech?? just because BofA wants to get rich of these illegals doesn't mean the rest of americans want them to infest our streets... and it certainly does not mean that we need to hold ourselves accountable for them breaking the law... basically you are saying that serial killers like the zodiac killer and ted bundy is American's fault?
