Because the Shiia are not real Muslims... Sunni are Muslims who believe that the last Prophet was Mohammed(pbuh), the shiia believe in Ali and 10 pillars of their faith which includes Jihad..maybe you all should read on Sunni and Shiia and find out that there are big difference rather then make assumptions based on what the Media tells you.

Separation of Classes is the #1 cause, and foundation of ALL wars.

The Middle East had the rise of OPEC and International Cartels starting in the mid 1960's. This is when the rise of terrorists started too. Pres. Carter had the brunt of this Cartel but despite any international policy, he and succeeding Presidents haven't came to a way to hinder separation of classes. So, in the Middle East the rich Cartel has gotten richer while the poor have gotten poorer. This is the underlying cause of "Civil War" that's going on there.

To smoke screen the reality of the separation of classes the leaders are manipulating religion to lead the poor away from their real pain (human dignity). The poor are focusing their rage and being brainwashed by people who want to suppress them.

An allegory is Hitler. Germany suffered a great economic disparity and Hitler rose from that to manipulate both Christianity & Darwinism in an evil cocktail that caused genocide. We're seeing the same thing in Darfur today ... it's poor rebelling, but they don't know against what but are being fueled and focused by FALSE religious teachings leading them to genocide. Cambodia recently did the same thing too resulting in the Killing Fields.

Add to this the power of manipulation the TV & the Internet!!! We all saw what happened in Virginia when the NBC released the video the VT Massicure killer made ... it created copycat's ... hate fuels hate ... and we witnessed it blaze across America in American schools. Now, the Middle East has tons of their own independent networks, which are propaganda hate, and it's spreading. The proverb, "You become what you focus on" is very real with today's instant communications.
