Do you have a revealing picture of yourself on your 360 page? If so why? Are you trying to make your brothers and sisters stumble into sin?

No - and this is something that needs be said, though I think I would recommend individual emails. Since many unbelievers are simply looking for ammunition to discredit Christ, we need to be careful not to call attention to our brothers' and sisters' faults - these matters ought to handled internally for the same reason that Paul taught that the believers ought not sue one another.

I agree- I personally do not have a 360 page but I would not put a revealing pic there just to get a conversation going- God looks at the heart- and if we are trying to get "converts" anyway but His way, we are wrong. Great questions- got a star for that one!!

no i dont, im not even sure if i have a 360page lol.

but yeh, starred this question!

no, i dont think they are trying to make ppl stumble... i just think they dont have a reverence for God's word. Or at least that PART of God's word....

its not just on 360pge. they wear one thing to church and youth, and a COMPLETELY different wardrobe to parties, the beach or anywhere they think they might not see anyone they know.

it must be exhausting living on both sides of the fence. i couldnt do it. but that guy who said we should ask these questions privately kind of has a point, although maybe this will get these flesh-baring Christians thinking??

anyways, good question.

This passage speaks for itself in regard to your question:

1John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

I have wondered that myself...some are very provocative...and almost pornographic...even the ones who claim to be Christians...some say, they are just trying to get more dialogue, and using a less revealing, more boring photo does not get anyone's attention....

Sex sells I guess...and some who call themselves Christians use sex too.

Right on man. We need to tell girls about how to not make men stumble. Same with myspace too.
