Danger extends to the 'doorstep' of every democratic, freedom-loving nation.
Christians, Muslims, and Jews are accustomed to being libeled, hated, and used as scapegoats for the world's ills.
However, the difference today is that Muslims, Christians, and Jews have been linked together, both by the need to defeat terrorism and our commitment to a common set of moral and spiritual values.
Given the global dangers we face today as Jews, Christians, and Muslims together, we are increasingly becomming aware of the ongoing opportunities we have to forge even closer bonds. ~(~

- So we evaluate "answers to life's biggest mysteries" -
as having nothing in common with an American's ability to locate Iran on a map.

And...what would one have to do with the other? Finding Iran is hardly as important as Salvation.

Life's biggest mystery...is not a mystery to those of faith.

How about the average American knows who won American Idol, but doesn't have a clue about eternal life!

Egads, they're just proving your point. And they don't even get it.

Knowing basics about the world is important. Iran is right next to Iraq, the U.S. is occupying one and threatening the other. How can anyone have a valid opinion about world politics -- and the decisions of their own government -- when they don't even know basics like geography and how conditions in one country effect their neighbours?

It's narcissism writ large. I have all the answers. God speaks to me. I don't need to know anything about global politics or wars. Stick my fingers in my ears and hum real loud whenever anyone tries to tell me anything else.

Sarcasm intended. I'm from the U.S. and I'm disgusted.

In order Life to exist, was necessary the creation of the Cosmos. Life started to be build-ed when it was the Big Bang. Our Life has as a mining to Transcend to Plenitude, where there is not matter, space, not time, but Plenitude. To arrive there we are in need to grow in a spiritual way. Yes. Why would knowing where Iran is trump knowing the way to eternal salvation?

Because geography and religious beliefs are tied together HOW?

This may be the single worst case of generalization I've seen yet.
