My boyfriend went out of state with his family for vacation. He has Cricket and i have Sprint so he took my phone to have service down there and i have his. If we talk on the phone is it still long distance even if it's the same area code?

I think they might charge you as you might be going through a different operator service this happens in China I think you should check with the phone company I mean you don't want a huge bill when you get back

It is probably not because he is just going out of state. I don't think that it will track where you are anyway.
