When it all comes down to the day of judgment Christians are not going to be the ones to judge you. Only God Himself will be the one to judge you. We will all have to stand alone for our sins that we have committed.

Why should the SBC of today apologize for something that happened before any of us were born? They did apologize for slavery in 1995, but it really means very little since none of the Southern Baptists living today ever owned slaves. Anyone today who apologizes for something that happened over 100 years ago is merely attempting to be politcally correct. As for trusting their judgement on women's roles in the church, homosexuality, and abortion; they are attempting to follow what they believe the Bible teaches. They are bound by their beliefs to speak out against things that they feel are wrong. I would suggest that you quit harping on them and go join yourself to a liberal church.
