It does not matter what your faith is or what companies you have in your pockets...what matter is that we have "leaders" who know the difference bettween right and wrong, good and bad, common sence vs self-serving interests. We do not have any viable "people" who can listen to the common "legal" citizens who want a cleaner enviornment, tougher/sensible and enforced crimminal laws. We need the violent and sexual predetors punished severly for their crimes against society and not allow special interests to dictate policy. Our judicial system actually holds us, the law abiding citizens hostage.

We also need a representitive body to actually represent the will of the "people", not treat us like we are blessed to have them in office...remember...we are the "owners" of our country and the politicians are supposed to work for us..."Of the People, By the People and For the People".

This is one "Jew's Pint of View" ... what's yours?

Because we vote for politicians not leaders. You answer your own question. We fall prey to the rhetoric of the campagin, mud-slinging, name calling have become the norm. An entire generation of voters has grown-up since the Regan years without a discussion of issues. o be honest i do not care how much moneyt someone has, or who they slept or did not sleep with. I do care about your stance on the issues how you wil vote and what your agenda is. As a voter that's all I have a right to know.

There are too many lawyers in politics. Most of them had little experience leading people when they ran for office.

Also great leaders are in high demand particularly in the business world. They can make far more money in the private sector vs. public office.

Because too many politicians only want to push their own agenda, and get as much money as they can for their own districts (to insure re-election) instead of trying to do what is best for the country as a whole.

Because the greedy politicians are only in politics for their own personal gains. They are all mostly corrupted in one way or another and do not care about their constituents or the government.

there is only one thing more dangerous than an informed, inactive electorate and that is an uninformed, active electorate. Politicians bank on the latter to be elected.
