Probably for the same reason that the atheists are seeking the same, the Muslims are seeking the same, the Islamics are seeking the same. etc. It seems that no one wants to get outside the box and investigate other viewpoints. I eagerly peruse the forum for viewpoints and invitations for commentary. I wish other folks would do the same. I believe we could become more educated, well rounded and maybe even find some truths that we didn't know existed. We shouldn't be narrow-minded but we seem to be. I like exploring new territory and I am a Christian. But I am a truth seeker, whether it be thru this forum, science, reading, etc. So not all of us are stuck in the box with a staunch refusal to look at the big picture.

Sometimes they may just want an answer from Christians. If it's a particular question concerning Christians, I'm sure Muslims may not know the answer or even care to answer for that matter.
Just like asking that a question only be answered by Jews, Mormons, etc. You want an answer from the source, not an opinion.

Because when someone has a sincere religious question, its very annoying to get that same old boring 'there is no god" answer bashers have such a tendency to give. When I see a pagan or wiccan question I don't even look at it, because I know I don't have the right answer, so why do atheists think they can answer a sincere christian question? Exactly, they can't, all they can do is troll and bash and waste our time. So sometimes we respectfully ask you not to waste our time, yet you will still do it.

sometimes I do ask a question for Christians only because I know I will probably get a Christian answer instead of rudeness. And most likely if I have a Bible question, another Christian is more likely to know where the passage is...

I always thought this was for anyone. Do you feel it only for Christians? It is for everyone. If they can only be ansered by other christians maybe that is because they understand being in the walk with the Lord n all.

Because many people here give silly answers just to be noticed. Also because some people will give their non- belief types of answers. They are typically looking for sincere well thought out answers from people who are truly interested in answering their questions without saying stuff like he doesn't exist or other criticism of their beliefs

I guess its a personal thing. Some (most) Christians are more than willing to share... but then again, I've met some who like to give but don't like to take... so, yeah, its more of a personality thing with people rather than 'Christians'...

Well, if I want a question answered about the Bible, or spiritual growth, or conviction, or other things like that, I want other Christ followers to answer that question.
I don't want to have to weed through some of the sarcastic rebuttals of the non-believers.
