Christianity isn't to blame for ALL the world's problems. But they're certainly to blame for a lot of them. You list some of them in your question, plus there's the holy war that George Bush is currently prosecuting. And then there's the fact that many Christians (like the thankfully-now-dead Jerry Falwell and his ilk) actively promote an agenda of ignorance, hatred, and intolerence.

Umm no its the people who stared it and their ignorant beliefs that got twisted by them.God is not about war but peace and love. Its the humans that come up with things and fight for something they believe its right, their own view.In this world nobody thinks the same and acts the same, so its absolutely normal to disagree in a view so thats why religions branch off from christianity and now there are so many versions and beliefs that its confusing. It all depends on what best suits you if you want a religion.Individuals are to blame, God gives us freedom to do what we want with our lives.Unfortunately some put God in a bad way.Besides some say they are christians or w.e but its all talk no actions.Their actions show the opposite.

Congrats you have to pull data from almost 400 years ago, to find major Christian warfare. Then you pull out the George Bush card, showing you know nothing about the U.S. government. George Bush is the figurehead scapegoat of the Middle Eastern affairs nothing more or less. I can go back only 30 years and find a man that killed 1.2 million religious people, simply because he disliked intellectuals (Pol Pot). Or go back 90 years to when 1.7million Armenians were murdered by the Ottoman Turks. I will not go into the Communist purges, as those were mainly political. The Thirty Years War, and the Reconquista, were primarily political wars using religion as a guise to draw people in. Religion really motivates people, and the Spanish and Holy Roman monarchs knew that they could use religion as a tool to get their own political gains.
That being said is the history of Christianity spot-free? No of course not, Christianity has done many bad things in its past, but almost every major group has as well. r We are ready to move forward and not dwell over our past mistakes. We hope that Islam, Atheism, Hinduism, etc. are as well. However, by claiming Christianity is to blame for the world's problems you appear as ignorant as Nero.

Christians did NOT initiate the Crusades against the Muslims. They invaded western lands first, and the Europeans get condemned for fighting back. I an sick of this double standard.
----------------------------------------
...So what is the truth about the Crusades? Scholars are still working some of that out. But much can already be said with certainty. For starters, the Crusades to the East were in every way defensive wars. They were a direct response to Muslim aggression—an attempt to turn back or defend against Muslim conquests of Christian lands.
Christians in the eleventh century were not paranoid fanatics. Muslims really were gunning for them. While Muslims can be peaceful, Islam was born in war and grew the same way. From the time of Mohammed, the means of Muslim expansion was always the sword. Muslim thought divides the world into two spheres, the Abode of Islam and the Abode of War. Christianity—and for that matter any other non-Muslim religion—has no abode. Christians and Jews can be tolerated within a Muslim state under Muslim rule. But, in traditional Islam, Christian and Jewish states must be destroyed and their lands conquered. When Mohammed was waging war against Mecca in the seventh century, Christianity was the dominant religion of power and wealth. As the faith of the Roman Empire, it spanned the entire Mediterranean, including the Middle East, where it was born. The Christian world, therefore, was a prime target for the earliest caliphs, and it would remain so for Muslim leaders for the next thousand years.
With enormous energy, the warriors of Islam struck out against the Christians shortly after Mohammed’s death. They were extremely successful. Palestine, Syria, and Egypt—once the most heavily Christian areas in the world—quickly succumbed. By the eighth century, Muslim armies had conquered all of Christian North Africa and Spain. In the eleventh century, the Seljuk Turks conquered Asia Minor (modern Turkey), which had been Christian since the time of St. Paul. The old Roman Empire, known to modern historians as the Byzantine Empire, was reduced to little more than Greece. In desperation, the emperor in Constantinople sent word to the Christians of western Europe asking them to aid their brothers and sisters in the East.
That is what gave birth to the Crusades. They were not the brainchild of an ambitious pope or rapacious knights but a response to more than four centuries of conquests in which Muslims had already captured two-thirds of the old Christian world. At some point, Christianity as a faith and a culture had to defend itself or be subsumed by Islam. The Crusades were that defense....

you recognize what's humorous? various atheist i recognize do not blame christians for the topic matters of the international. this is quite the three Jerusalem religions that blame christianity for the topic matters contained in the international: Christianity, Judaism, and Islam (alongside with others for sure). for sure, that's a lot less demanding to blame a set of people although all of us recognize the real reason-ourselves and moves like this! heavily?! what's your project! Athiests are sturdy people. basically because they be counted on yet differently would not lead them to a nasty individual! it truly is what all you christians prefer to study!

Sorry, but you don't get a passing grade in history. We'll let you repeat the class, though.
In short, all of the wars that you've described would have happened even if everyone involved were atheists.
That's because they primarily involved political differences and/or land acquisition.
The religious differences between the warring parties were only incidental -- though they have been seized on by those who seek to discredit religion (especially Christianity) because it teaches moral things that they do not want to hear.

This is a foolish question in an attempt to hide from God. Exodus 15:3 says that the Lord is man of war. But biblical Christianity is not to blame. It is human nature of no one ever loving their neighbor. From Cain and Abel in Genesis, there has been rivalry. True peace will only come when Jesus sets up his literal Kingdom at His Second Coming. Catholicism is one of the furthest things from the teaching of Christ and true Christianity. But that is another topic for another time

The world and it's sinful nature is to blame for the worlds problems. And, also it's people's choice to follow Worship God with out God which is the definition of religion. Sorry to say that more than a few Christians have never read the Bible in their lives, and when they spew their uneducated banter based on what they heard (which may not even be true) it turns off the person who is seeking the love of Jesus. Or even if it is true they explain it in a condemnatory way. (because of lack of knowledge) I would say that instead of letting a few bad apples or the slew of different religons turn you off read and see for yourself what following God can do.

how did the christians 'initiate' the crusades if the muslims were trying to take over where the jews were? i would blame the muslims for that one....also don't forget how many people joseph stalin and pol pot killed, they murdered millions, pol pot killed more people in one war than 2000 years of christianity, so just by that info, i can answer your question NO.

The reason wars are started involving Christianity I believe is because the one behind it , God is powerful and real and those that refuse to believe in Christ try desperately to erase God and his son Jesus's presence in this world by battling Christians. But that is a battle they will never win because he is our creator and savior.
