You have to be solid in your own performance. Know every note backward and forward so that you are not thrown off by listening to another note. Concentrate on the rhythm of the other person's singing, not the notes. This will keep you on beat without throwing you off in pitch.
Keep your pitch by lowering the chin on high notes, keeping your palette raised, and cheeks and jaw relaxed. There is something called an "eye smile." Smile, then relax the lips, and keep that feeling in the eyes. This helps to relax and raise the palette.

Practice individually A LOT first! if you don't know your parts solid, then once the other part joins in, you will get thrown off. Practice at a piano with sheet music in front of you, that way when you hit a rough spot, you can stop and go over the parts. If you or your friend don't read music, I'm sure that if you asked your music teacher they would be willing to help you.

hmmmm.............. this happens a lot when singing in a group............. if you play an insturment than you can stay on pitch by playing the note on your instrument at the same time you are singing and this might help you. you can also practice scales with ur friend and try to tell which person is lower or higher. after you figure that out you can either sing lower of higher. sryy that i dont know a lot or if it is hard to understand

I get better by listening to music and taking notes on how they go to high from low.
Maybe you can make solos for each other and who ever is able to stay on pitch better will singing those parts.
That`s what I usually do!

She's no longer undesirable... regardless of the shown fact that it is not possibly singing.. it relatively is a type of "speaking songs" the place they are easily stretching their words and speaking to a song. It does not particularly take ability.

if I need to hear myself sing in a group, I put my finger over my ear. it will help during practice til you're sure of your singing.
