Am I wrong for getting mad if I find out that for 6 months my girlfriend has been talking to guys online and telling them she's single, setting her profiles to say she's single until I ***** at her, then she goes and changes everything how it should be. Then I find out she went and changed everything back to saying she's single and is still telling guys that she's single...not to mention we're supposed to be engaged at this point.

Well you have a good reason to be mad but she is a GIRL! you have to remember that girls don't understand that guys have feelings too and they like the attention. You had to trust her with the talking with her ex, even if she did talk with him you can't confront her by being mad. She is probably playing games with you about the "i hate you blah blah blah" keep up with it if she means a lot to you. If she is someone you can let go easily then let it go and she will probably come back either way. Just don't show your emotions by getting angry.

If you're supposed to be engaged to the girl and she's purposefully telling people that she's single, then there is a huge problem. Has she been planning on meeting anyone?
Tell her that she needs to change it and keep it that way. She needs to respect the relationship or you shouldn't be with her. That's disrespectful and very, very questionable.

Screw her and don't marry her. She needs more attention than 1 man can provide. THis constant need for attention will prevent her from ever having a fullfilling relationship which will send her into an endless cycle of bad relationships. She will eventually get old enough that her looks won't garner her anymore attention, so she will become a gold digger after that. SHe is pathetic.

I would say to back off about the whole engagement thing because obviously she is confused about whether or not she is single! What gets me is that you had to ask whether you are petty or not! It sounds like to me she ain't ready for a real relationship!

I dont think you are in the wrong here at all. It looks like shes not entirely commited to the relationship and i would honestly think twice before getting engaged.

Yes you should be mad. Take a hint, she's looking just in case she finds something better than you before she commits to you for life. She's not sure of her choice. She might be having second thoughts.

If she changed it all back, then screw her. Tell her she can either be your girlfriend to everyone, or not be your girlfriend at all. That kind of behavior is just disrespectful and unacceptable.
