No doubt. Can't you just picture them, walking around like zombies, clutching their KJVs and constantly muttering to themselves, Rainman-style, "call no man your father, call no man your father, Matthew 23:9, yeah, 23:9, call no man your father."

Honor you Father and Mother is one of the ten commandments. I see no conflict with celebrating "Father's Day", or "Mother's Day" for that matter.

No harm in it. The verse that talks about "call no man father on this earth" is referring to a religous title.

Catholic priests try to dodge the force of Jesus' command by telling us that if we interpreted our Lord's words literally, we could not call our parent "father." However, in the context of Matt. 23, Jesus is condemning the religious leaders of His time who did all their works to be seen of men (vs. 5), loved marks of distinction (vs. 6), and craved the flattering titles given by men (vs. 7). The writer of Hebrews by inspiration used the term "father" for our earthly parent. He said, "Furthermore, we had fathers of our flesh to correct us..." (Heb. 12:9). In view of these things, when Jesus said "call no one on earth your father," what could he have meant but that we are not to call men "father" in a religious sense?

I don't see the connection. But if anything conflicts with Fundamental Christians, it's no surprise.

Every event that doesn't have "the blood of the lamb" splattered all over it is a conflict for Fundies...

No, it is not a conflict. The Lord blessed me with a wonderful father who is now a wonderful grandfather too.

funny, huh?

no... if the fundies like something, they "interpret" the bible in a way that makes it ok for them to do, say, celebrate. Same thing goes for things they don't like.
