If I have Windows XP now, and I upgrade to Vista, will I be able to transfer all of my music, pictures, videos and office 2003 stuff (documents, etc.) without too many difficulties?

And if I take, for instance, a Word 2007 document on a flash drive and open it with Word 2003, will it show (and vice versa)?

There have been many reports of problems doing upgrades, fresh loads are still the best bet. Office 2003 works under Vista. Word 2007 cannot be read by Word 2003 if it is not saved in Word 2003 format. Word 2007, however, can read Word 2003 files with no difficulty.
