Dee's Roast Pork for Tacos
INGREDIENTS
4 pounds pork shoulder roast
2 (4 ounce) cans diced green chilies, drained
1/4 cup chili powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon taco seasoning
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 1/2 teaspoons salt, or to taste
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
Place the roast on top of a large piece of aluminum foil. In a small bowl, stir together the chili powder, oregano, taco seasoning and garlic. Rub onto the roast. Wrap foil around the roast so that it is completely covered, using additional aluminum foil if necessary. Place on top of a roasting rack in a baking dish, or place a cookie sheet on an oven rack below to catch any leaks.
Roast the meat for 3 1/2 to 4 hours in the preheated oven, until falling apart. Remove from the oven, and shred into small pieces using two forks. Season with salt to taste.

got any "ramen Noodle " or Oddles of Noodles" packages? if so coc k them up, and shred some of the tasty slow ****** pork into the noodle and juice, ad a little hot sauce and you got a quai thai soup. it taste better with a little vinigar, may not sound good, but I tell you it really is.
or shred the pork, mix in a little BBQ sauce, and put into a hamburger bun or two slices of bread and have BBQ Pork sandwiches.
cook some rice, (1 cup dry makes alot of rice) dice up fine one onion, chop up fine the pork, when water comes to boil (2cups) add onion and pork, stir while rice and mix bils for about 2 mintes, then reduce heat to low (very low) and cover, do not lift lide! rice will ruin. after 25 minutes, remove pan from stove, place a fryng pan on stove, with about 1/3 cup of cooking oil, get that hot, then spoon in as much of the rice and pork mix as you want to eat. stir until rice starts to brown (about a minute, then serve, it's a plain friend rice and pork dinner, you can add, some spices, pending on you taste preferences.

Mushy seems strange, overcooked pork is usually dry. A roasting joint would normally be cooked for 25 minutes per pound and 25 minutes over.

Make an easy soup! Chop it up into small pieces. Gather up some canned or mixed frozen veggies. Add anything else you like in soup. Throw it all in a pot with a few cups of chicken stalk and water. Season with salt, pepper, garlic, or whatever you like. Boil for about 10 minutes.
Or make sandwiches with the meat.
